Usually love Pepper bras, but the quality of Cotton Wirefree Bra La Vie did not live up to the price tag. The bra had poor stitching of the straps, causing the elastic fibers to stick out and poke uncomfortably. Unfortunately, I will not be wearing this bra. Added my old Pepper bra (nude) in photos for comparison of stitching styles.

I may have the wrong shape small breasts but the cups sit so wide apart that my areolas are visible. Also, the inserts get squished and shift during the wash and it literally took me 5 mins to insert them back the right way. Also, the return process is ridiculous. I need to provide photo proof of the item to be returned? The only reason I kept this bra is because i removed the tag and unlike any other store, I cannot return it like that. No thank you.

It's comfortable right when I put it on, but unfortunately the pads aren't sewn in and therefore they move around and roll up on the edges. Additionally, I've only worn it twice and the fabric is already pilling it. It has not be washed yet.

I really like the material of this bra and overall it is comfortable to wear. However, I was disappointed with the straps.
At the front of the straps there is a ring where the strap loops and attaches back onto itself. Unfortunately, this part feels quite sharp against the skin. Since the skin on the chest is very sensitive, this area presses into the skin and can feel irritating. I suspect this might be due to the elastic material used to keep the strap flexible, but it still causes discomfort.
Because of this, other models feel more pleasant to wear. I would personally prefer if the front rings were removed, as they seem unnecessary and create extra irritation.

I appreciate Pepper trying to use more natural fabric. It is soft, but not silky like SoftLife Modal. I’m okay with that. I think my skin likes the cotton. My issue is that the Large has larger cups but a shorter band than the Medium SoftLife I kept. I had recently ordered their band extenders, so I kept the bra. After all, it was an exchange for a different style that had both a short band and short straps. At least these straps are long enough. Also, I’m apparently a 38AA, so I still have a gap in the Large cup though less than in store bras.

This is my favorite style of bra from pepper but the cotton ones have removable pads that bunch and fall out in the wash. The other wire free bras of this style have built in pads. If I knew these were removable I wouldn't have purchased.

This bra is very soft and comfortable. The only downside for me is I’m a L cup size but an XL band size. Unfortunately it doesn’t come in band and cup sizes (e.g., 38A). I ended up with the L and I’ll use a bra extender. It would be nice if Pepper offered extenders in Heather grey color so it would match.

I love the fit and fabric. Not bra that fits me. But I with the cups were integrated and not removable. I have small enough boobs that I can go without a bra easily. Mostly wear for nipple coverage. So there is no situation I don’t want the liners. And I have a hard time managing them in and out in the wash. I sewed them in myself.

I am happy with the material and the style. Next time I will purchase a medium, rather than the small, to allow for a bit more breathing room - especially in such temperatures.

The bra fits very well, but I don/t like the metal fasteners. I have very tender skin. Plastic does not hurt me, but metal does.

Really comfy and it fits well, even for exercise.
But the floating pad is annoying and makes a wrinkle between the bottom and the pad.

I wish the pads weren’t removable, as they’re difficult to get into place after a wash. But I do appreciate the soft cotton fabric.

Pepper bras live up to their promise, they are the best fitting bras I have ever worn in my life. The Supima cotton line is so soft and comfortable to wear. The blue stripes are super cute, it's the bra in my drawer I want to keep reaching for!

I was very excited to give this a try as I've been trying new bras left and right. While this is comfortable as a regular under the tee bra, once I crossed the back for a "racer back" type it just doesn't feel that great. Wish I could love it more but it'll be just another tee bra for now.

A good fit for me with a large band size and small cup. No gaps. My narrow shoulders require an elastic to hold straps together in back. I prefer a strap that can be easily removed from the back and resown closer to the middle opening. I also like to machine wash my bras.

The feel and fit are just perfect!!! And its really cute.

This was my second bra after I got the size figured out. It will take some trial and error to figure out band sizes and strap tightness, as this bra is designed to actually fit how a bra is supposed to. The fabric is very soft and comfortable, and a wonderful switch from my polyester bras. Because of the cotton blend, the bra will pill, but I have not noticed this to give me any issues. I would recommend somehow modifying where the bra strap loops into the little circle on the front, perhaps sewing it directly on the bra, as the folding there is a slight sensory issue for me. I would also recommend tagless, printing the size and care information onto the bra. I would love it if skintone colors could be added. I would not go back to my old bras from Walmart. I did not think I could feel so cute in a bra, especially with the blue elements.
