"Imagine a world in which womxn were told they were beautiful just as they are? I’ve grown to love my body. Small boobs and all.
I used to be super insecure because my boobs weren’t big and I had people telling me everything from “real women have curves” to “I’d date you if you had boobs done” etc. On top of that I had the constant pressure of society telling me what a “real women’s body” look like to negate my identity as a woman of trans experience." — Jessica Zyrie

"My name is Alex Dacy and I have a physical disability. Because of my body shape and how little disabled bodies are represented in the bra industry, bra shopping is always been a huge challenge for me.
Bodies are all different shapes and sizes and i strongly believe every body should have the opportunity to feel sexy and have a positive lingerie or bra shopping experience.
Because I can never find a bra that fits me, it has definitely discouraged me from feeling as sexy as I do in these bras. & let me tell you, I’ve never felt more sexy wearing these bras by @wearpepper that fit me ✨perfectly✨ I’ve literally never worn a bra that I’ve felt this amazing in that fits this well. Obsessed." — Alex Dacy

“As a transgender woman, finding a bra can be a struggle. I've got the wide rib cage and small breasts, typical of transfeminine people, so finding the right size is almost impossible. When I search online I see my selection go from thousands of bras to just a few dozen because I selected the size 40A. Most of the bras I used to buy still had cup sizes that were way too big for an A cup.
Then came Pepper. When I wear my Pepper bra, I feel like it's a bra designed for me, with my body in mind. The cups fit perfectly, the band isn't too tight, and I can stride through my day with comfort and support. For me, Pepper means confidence.” — Vanessa Hoskins

"Growing up, I believed that bigger was better when it came to breast size. Everywhere I looked, and everything I heard, perpetuated the idea that big boobs were good and small boobs were bad. If you didn't have cleavage, you weren't desirable—period. This notion was unavoidable: in the ads I saw on the way to school, in the whisperings of boys I liked, in the commercials I glanced at while flipping through channels, and, most shockingly, at the stores where I bought my bras." — Pia Velasco

"Truth and honesty, I used to be so self-conscious about claiming my membership in the #IBTC up until recently (and let’s be completely honest, sometimes I still am! 🤷🏻♀️)⠀ ⠀ Being a small-chested woman, I have dealt with insecurities around my body-type my whole post-puberty life. Being told in middle school that I’d be “perfect” if I had a bigger chest (first off, don’t assume I’m interested in being “perfect” to you in the first place😜), to looking up what all it would take to get a boob job (ok, maybe every girl has done that 🤣), to always feeling less than feminine because I don’t have curves. It’s a rollercoaster of being happy with my body just the way it is, then wishing I could change this or that, and back and forth again and again. I’ve spoken to girls and women with any and all different body types and we all have one thing in common - we all have similar insecurities! ⠀ ⠀ For me, becoming a mother really helped to shift my view on my body. Growing, birthing, and then nurturing and feeding both of my children from my own miracle of a body, regardless of its size (which has changed so much over the past 3 years), has shown me how beautiful and powerful the female body truly is! Regardless of if you’ve had children or not, the fact is that the female body has that potential and that alone is so incredibly amazing! Our life-giving bodies are beautiful because they give👏🏼life👏🏼! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I know it’s easier said than done sometimes, but learning to truly appreciate your beautiful, amazing gift of a body no matter what size it is, and knowing that it houses your wonderful, precious mind and soul is such a healthy thing. That’s why I love Pepper so much - a brand tailored specifically for us #smallsquad gals who are just as much “woman” than the next, serving up some super cute and comfy styles that fit perfectly in all the right places in all the right ways, all the while reminding us to love the body we are in. For all my fellow IBTC ladies, peep the Pepper power" — Alexis Whaley

“Getting breast implants was not a decision I took lightly & I considered my options for 10 years before I actually got them.
Every so slowly my health declined...so slowly that I didn’t even consider that it was the implants (but deep down I knew...I knew I shouldn’t have put something foreign in my body; especially since I already had two autoimmune diseases).
Flash forward 6.5 years & I heard about Breast Implant Illness, then researched like crazy quickly making the decision to explant.
It’s been 15 mos & my health continues to improve (my thyroid meds have been reduced 8x!!!) & more important than anything I NOW LOVE & APPRECIATE WHAT GOD (+ a lift) GAVE ME.
I’m 100% happy with my breasts. I appreciate what I went through because it has allowed me to help my clients through BII, their explants, & detox afterward (I’m a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner).
My @wearpepper bra is my absolute favorite because it is super apparent that it was actually made for small chested women. It fits without gaps & is cute... I don’t feel like I am wearing a bra made for a teen.” — Gretchen Tseng

"For the first time in my entire life I have finally found a bra that fits and makes me feel beautiful and confident!! ✨ Since 4th grade I have been waiting for my boobs to grow and they just simply never have lol. I remember being around 12 years old and dreaming of the day I’d make enough money that I could get a boob job. Literally horrible!!! 12 year olds should not be worrying about that. Going bra shopping and never being able to find your size and seeing models with chests that don’t look like yours sucks big time. Having people poke jokes at your size (even when you’re laughing along and joking about yourself too) takes a toll on your confidence. I like being feminine, I like feeling feminine. This was the one area that would always make me feel like less of a woman. I’ve spent so long trying to change this part of myself, but at the end of the day, just loving and accepting yourself for who you are will always be the best option. Both my mom and grandma are breast cancer survivors, so at the end of the day, no matter what their size is, I’m just happy they are healthy!" — Rachael Opdenaker

"My name is Melody and I have wanted a breast augmentation since I was 12. I remember going through puberty and my body changing except for the one area I always wanted to grow: my boobs
Considering I have always had large hips and glutes (size 42 hips) I never felt proportionate and I know there has been an influx of breast augmentations specifically in the fitness industry which made the desire even stronger
There is something so satisfying to see a proportionate body, but I think it’s important to recognize that breasts are one of the first areas we lose fat when we start losing weight, AND we shouldn’t feel bad about our body just because we aren’t “proportionate” by societal standards
I am still working on loving my body for what it is because it does so much for me, and when I found @wearpepper it made me feel so much better because it’s the first company specifically branded for women with small boobs! Created by women for women, their motto is to look good, feel good, and most importantly do good :) Several women wear the wrong size of the cup or band and it does affect our appearance, and in result how we feel about ourselves. I can say with full confidence that the Limitless Wirefree bra makes me feel so sexy and actually love my small breasts, because they’re mine!" — Melody Horbach
