the pepper difference

Pepper specially designs for small bust sizes so they might fit a little differently from your current bras. We're so confident in our thoughtful small cup designs that our motto is 100% fill and fit guaranteed, or we'll make it right.

Here's what's unique

Our cups are shallower so you can actually fill them. No awkward bra gaps no matter how you move.

We use lightly padded cups for a natural look, because no one needs to look 2 sizes bigger.

We didn't just shrink the underwire; we optimized the curvature and length to maximize comfort.

How to measure bra size

Step 1: Measure your Band Size

Using a measuring tape, measure around your ribcage, just beneath your bust. Make sure the tape is pulled snug, leveled and straight around your back. Then find your corresponding band size in the chart below.

*PS: If you're on the border of two sizes, we found that many of our customers preferred the larger band size. For example, if you measured 30.5 inches around your ribcage, you might want to try a 36 band size instead of 34.

Step 2: Find the right Cup Size

Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the tape is leveled and straight around your back. We find wearing a non-padded sports bra or tank while measuring can help get more accurate measurements.

(Bust measurement in inches) - (Pepper band size) = Cup size

For example, if you measured 33" bust and got a 32 Pepper band size: 33 bust - 32 band size = 1 inch difference.

How your bra should fit

  1. Band

    Band
    • Because fabric stretches with wear, it should feel comfortable when it's on the loosest hook

    • Straight and leveled, and doesn't ride up

  2. Center Bridge

    Center Bridge
    • Lays flat on your sternum for underwire bras (If bridge lifts off your chest, try a bigger cup size)

  3. Cups

    Cups
    • Filled cups, with no gaps

  4. Underwire

    Underwire
    • Comfortably follows the shape of your breast

    • No pinching

  5. Straps

    Straps
    • Adjusted to stay in place with no slipping/digging

    • Straps will stretch with wear, so we recommend tightening them every so often
